Dr. Molenaar received his B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Co in 1990.
His M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, as well as his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, were also awarded by the University of Colorado, Boulder.
At the present time he is the Department Chair of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at the University of Colorado.
He has published a large number of papers in technical Journals, the Transportation Research Board, ASCE Journal of Construction Management, ASCE Journal of Infrastructure Systems, and others.
He has also received several awards and recognitions from NSF, US Department of Education, the University of Colorado and others.
